Along with help from the team at Freedom Concepts, 29 fabulous people from all over the state of California, Alaska, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, Washington, North Carolina, Colorado and even the U.K. donated to help us make it happen.
And, that's not all, Mikes' Bikes gave Ramon super strong locks and a helmet & gear to ensure his safety as well as that of the bike, another donor provided a GPS tracker and bike alerts, lights and other accessories. Special thanks to the Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club for having us out today! Ramon even got to officially start the children's race!
But that's not all! As he hoped, we got the original bike back.
Not quite in its original condition, but we've already repaired the bike and now we are asking you to NOMINATE your favorite Medical Therapy Unit, Occupational or Physical Therapy Clinic to win the re-cycled bike AND $1,000 in repair work for any other equipment they may need help with!
