San Francisco, CA – The Variety Screening Room and Event Space is proud to announce we have gone DIGITAL! The new state-of-the-art system featuring the very latest NEC projection system, Dolby 3D technology, and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound cements the Variety Screening Room as the only screening room in Northern California with such setup.
In recent months, the motion picture industry has undergone a dramatic change when it comes to format and equipment. As Variety’s Preview Room Theater primarily functions as a review screening room for the trade, we began to see that we’d lose business as studios began shipping digital instead of 35MM.
