BORP Revolution 2008 — A Cycling Fundraiser Benefiting Athletes with Disabilities

Date: Saturday, October 4, 2008
Location: Trentadue Winery, Sonoma County CA
Participate: Visit the BORP Revolution 2008 Website

This October 4th, the Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (BORP) is holding the Revolution 2008, a bike ride for disabled and able-bodied cyclists both. Variety - The Children's Charity is partnering with BORP to bring in riders and funds for the Revolution 2008, and to buy a custom-made adaptive bike for a disabled child in the Bay Area.

Variety Children's Charity has long recognized the freedom that goes with mobility. Through our Mobility Program, we've helped provide individuals and communities with this freedom, be it a van for a community center or a bicycle for a child. This is a great opportunity to give freedom on both an individual and a group level, through the gift of an adaptive bicycle for a specific child, and through Variety's ongoing support for BORP's programs.
